If you need enhanced protection, a channel system could be for you. It can cope with heavier loads meaning that you can fix up to 2 layers of 15mm plasterboard to the underside of the frame. This type of system can be further enhanced by using Resilient fixing brackets (listed separately), although they can not be interchanged between systems.
