JCW Acoustic Batten 50 is a flexible batten floor system, ideal where service runs need to be accommodated but floor heights are limited. It comprises of a resilient layer pre-bonded to a standard 45 x 35 nominal batten.
The batten is used to create a raised platform floor: the resilient layer on the underside of the batten sits on the floor and chipboard is screwed to the top of the batten. Isolation tape should be used around the perimeter.
