The JCW Acoustic Batten TF80 comprises a resilient layer pre-bonded to a standard 50 x 60 nominal batten. The batten is used to create a raised platform floor: the resilient layer on the underside of the batten then sits on the floor and chipboard is screwed to the top of the batten. Isolation tape should always be used around the perimeter.
The TF80 offers impact sound improvement of 19dB and is therefore one of the most effective products on the market.
