Sound Floor 15 & 18 comprise of a substrate layer of moisture-resistant medium density fibreboard with a high-density acoustic felt on the underside. SoundFloor 15 and 18 are 15mm and 18mm thick respectively and can be laid directly onto concrete. Both are designed to reduce impact noise passing through concrete floors. When installed over concrete floors they exceed new build and conversion standards of the Building Regulations.
