Established in 2004, we are an independent acoustic company with our head office based in Ipswich, and remote office locations covering the Midlands and the North, providing a variety of acoustic related services nationwide. Our services include acoustic consultancy and design review, noise impact assessments, sound testing and acoustic materials. All technical employees at SSC hold Institute of Acoustics membership and regularly complete CPD. Meaning, that we are up to date and aware of potential changes in standards and industry practice.
Acoustic consultancy
The new Building Regulations Approved Document O came into force as of 15th June 2022, the regulations apply to all new residential building projects. SSC have partnered with Energy, Sustainability and Air Quality experts to deliver a comprehensive assessment and reporting package to clients.

Our sound test engineers have years of experience and have completed thousands of tests. We are UKAS Accredited (4686) for a range of sound insulation testing services. This covers residential dwellings as well as commercial and other building types. We can also help with sound test failure surveys. By identifying the issue, providing you with a cost-effective solution and ensuring that you pass next time around.
